The way I've learned and experienced life has made me feel like I've opened my eyes on how the world really is. Living the life you want to have rather than living it how a book tells you to, that was written by another human being. The "Holy Books" we claim are holy and written by our god or gods are just simply written by human beings who believed they spoke to a higher being. Once I began to read a lot of the world's history, I've come to learn religions have made quite a mess for several thousands of years. Afterwards I began to realize, I should live life the way I believe is the best way, to the fullest. I do know right from wrong being raised as a child by my parents, but I as an individual built up my own morals on how I would like to live my life.
My ideas were taught to me I assume since I did learn the deaths religions have caused in school. But growing up into an adult gave me a new outlook on life, death, and afterlife. The readings I've read from class didn't so much clash with my own principles because I believe people need to guide their own lives instead of books. I believe to be more drawn to Taoism because life is going to take its course, no one is controlling it, rather the organisms in an area at a given time are the variables causing things to happen actually. Taoism has a better flow with life that I can agree with on being the answer to the way life really works and its explanations.
